How Does Your School Measure Up?

How Does Your School Measure Up?

Education Nation week is here...

Bringing the education crisis in our nation to the forefront of news!

Use the Education Nation Scorecard to find out how your child's school stacks up!

The scores are in... How Does Your Child's School Measure Up? Find out how well your child's school stacked up in the 2009-2010 school year. Use the Education Nation Scorecard, a new tool introduced at the Education Nation Summit held in New York this week. This scoreboard helps parents understand critical information about their child's local school and how it measures up compared to other schools in the district, state and country.

Use the Education Nation Scorecard to compare schools in your neighborhood, as well as schools in other areas. Also, the scoreboard allows you to compare school performance to federal test scores, which occasionally brings attention to the differences between state standards (which are different in each state) and the National Assessment of Educational Progress - NAEP (national test) standards.

Very interesting information. Now that we have four little ones in school, these kind of scores are a big deal to me.
