If you're looking for an alternative to a traditional drawing method, i.e., a change from picking the names of winners out of a hat, try an online random number generator. I like to use Random.org's Random Integer Generator which allows me to generate one or more winners from the total number of entries. It's quick and easy! And, it's FREE!

Five Easy Steps to Choosing Winners in Random Drawings:

  1. Go to Random Integer Generator and Enter the Total Number of WINNERS
  2. Enter Your Limits (a lower limit of 1 and an upper limit of total number of entries)
  3. Enter the Number of Columns You Would Like to Display
  4. Select Your Desired Replacement Option
  5. Click "Get Numbers" and Get Quick Results!

Another Generator: RandomResult.com - Generates FREE drawings with a proof of the draw. I have not tried out this tool yet. I found this site while searching on the internet and decided to add it here for those of you who would like to check it out.
