Good evening Letitia,
Good luck with your first time buyer seminar. What will you be covering about the $8000 tax credit?
Good Morning Don,
I still get lots of questions about the $8,000 tax credit even though the April 30th deadline for ratified contracts has passed. Since only those qualified first time home buyers who were under contract on or before April 30th are eligible for the tax credit if they close on or before September 30th, there is still confusion among some first time home buyers. So, I take a few minutes to cover this.
Also, if applicable, I'm prepared to cover home buyer tax credit for militarty/service members. Militarty/service members who are serving (or have served) overseas on "official extended duty" for at least 90 days during a specified period (Jan 1, 2009 - Apr 30, 2010) have an extra year - until April 30, 2011 to ratify their contract.
Don, Thanks for stopping by. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
